Join Portland Parks & Recreation with Forest Park Conservancy for our volunteer events in Marquam Nature Park. This is where No Ivy League and No Ivy Day all started 21 years ago. Come learn more about Marquam Nature Park. It includes a portion of the Marquam Trail, a linear trail and connection in the 40-mile Loop system, that starts at Willamette Park, passes over Council Crest, and connects with the Wildwood Trail in Washington Park. Volunteers will be hiking in about ½ mile to our ivy removal worksite. Volunteers will be hiking and working off trail on uneven ground. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle and snacks. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and snacks provide. There is a porta potty on site.

After the work party, join us to celebrate. There will be an after party at Forest Park or Mount Tabor Park from 12-1:30 including lunch and raffle prizes.
