SwiftWatch Swiffers - An Ambassador Partnership with the Bird Alliance of Oregon

Expired

Description

The Bird Alliance of Oregon is coordinating with partner organizations to help engage the community and clean up following the nightly Swift Watch throughout September, and Forest Park Conservancy is going to step up and help out!

We will cover two Thursday nights, September 5th and 19th, where we'll table for two hours and help clean up following the event.

Please don't expect to find on-street parking. The Bird Alliance of Oregon suggests parking at Montgomery Park and walking to Wallace Park/Chapman Elementary.

This is a special volunteer opportunity, watching the swifts land in Chapman Elementary, but due to the chaotic nature of nature, we are unsure of the exact time this event will wrap, so please budget a couple of hours. We estimate all activities will be finished by sundown.

If you have any questions or concerns, please us!
