We are seeking volunteers to represent FPC at a few upcoming summer events hosted by Dance United. We're looking for 1-2 Ambassadors to staff FPC's table and share information about the park & the conservancy!
Here are the dates which we are seeking volunteers for:
- June 29 at St John's Plaza 6-8pm.
- July 27 at Fields Park 6-8p.m.
- Aug 31 at St Johns Plaza 6-8p.m.
- Sept 28 5-7p.m.Chapman school near the grassy field.
We will prepare you with materials, talking points, etc and anything else you might need!

"We are Dance United, a small minority owned non-profit based in Portland that imagines a world where people from all cultures, nationalities, ages, and backgrounds connect through music and dance to ultimately celebrate our unity in diversity and see each other as one.
We are organizing 4 outdoor, multicultural and educational events located in parks and outdoors spaces that will serve as a catalyst to enjoy nature while creating a welcoming space for immigrants, communities of color and other historically marginalized groups. We will combine South Asian, Latin and African music, community dancing AND environmental education that aims to increase outdoor recreation and waste prevention activities."
