If you've ever been interested in maintaining and protecting the trails and health of Forest Park, we encourage you to come and join our Rapid Response Team!
Our Rapid Response program has changed over the years to incorporate the vast trail network in Forest Park, reporting on downed trees, blown-out sections of trail, invasive species, and the ongoing developments in the forest. As the ever-growing threat of climate change brings harsher inclement conditions in the winter and dryer, fire-risk summers, our Rapid Response Team has never been more necessary to protect the long-term and immediate health of the forest.
We will meet to cover what to expect from the program, the basics of proper field reporting, and how the program has changed and is likely to change over the coming year and seasons.
Light snacks will be provided for all participants! If you have any food allergies, please let us know!
