This is a restoration work party with Forest Park Conservancy, where we'll be working with invasive plant species to make room for native plants in a future volunteer opportunity.
When: Saturday, March 18th, 2023 9:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Birch Trailhead in Forest Park. We strongly encourage carpooling whenever possible due to limited parking!
What: We'll be removing English Ivy from along the sides of the trails and planting native species!
All participants are expected to wear close-toed shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring any medications they believe they might need. We also ask that all participants be prepared to show proof of vaccination and bring a facial covering for engaging with others--we do not expect volunteers will need to wear masks while volunteering.
