In collaboration with some of our partner organizations, FPC is hosting an act of solidarity, encouraging everyone in the Forest Park community to come out and join us as we walk, hike, and march across the St. John’s Bridge to honor the spirit, work, and words of Martin Luther King Jr. in a Selma Bridge Reenactment!.
This is where you come in, we need your help to make this event successful. We are expecting hundreds of participants and so we need a lot of volunteers to help run this event run smoothly.
We are looking for volunteers to help:
- Manage the registration table
- Conduct parking control
- Conduct traffic control
- Set up and take down the event site
- Keep watch as security personnel in the event of any unwanted activity during the event
