Come and join FPC staff and fellow volunteers as we conduct some of our winter trail maintenance. We will be clearing drains and culverts, removing downed branches, and attending to other common rainy-season trail issues as we find them. Let's meet at Dogwood trailhead and we can start from there.
You can expect to use a digging tool like a shovel, hoe or pick; and/or a handsaw, depending on need. We will hike about 1-3 miles while stopping intermittently as we come across work to do. There is no experience necessary; staff will teach you everything you need to know. Gloves, water, coffee and light snacks are provided, but please bring a water bottle with you to stay hydrated on the trail.
