This is a sign up for a Brushing party in Forest Park!
When: Saturday, August 6th 9:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Thundercrest in Forest Park. We strongly encourage carpooling whenever possible due to limited parking! Additionally, the tunnels on NW Cornell have been under construction, so please give yourself time when traveling to the trailhead!
What: We'll be removing excess growth from the spring along the trails of Forest Park, making a safe corridor for park-goers to use the whole trail. This helps prevent overuse and erosion throughout the season.
All participants are expected to wear close-toed shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring any medications they believe they might need. We also ask that all participants be prepared to show proof of vaccination and bring a facial covering for engaging with others--we do not expect volunteers will need to wear masks while volunteering.
Additionally, FPC will continue to abide by the Oregon Health Authority guidelines, and we ask that all participants follow our policy guidelines found here. FPC will make every effort to provide materials and access to our policies to keep participants safe and healthy!
