Join us for a Tool Maintenance Volunteer Event to help us get our tools ready for the next season! During this hands-on event, we’ll work together to clean, inspect, and fix a portion of our tool inventory so it is ready for upcoming stewardship and trail work events. This is a great opportunity to support stewardship work behind the scenes while learning basic tool care skills that help extend the life of our equipment. No prior experience is needed, and all supplies and instructions will be provided.
In celebration of Earth Month, we’ll be raffling off one donated Wildwood Candle Co. candle at each volunteer work party in April! Sign up now for a chance to give back to the forest and win one of these unique, Forest Park–themed candles.

When: Saturday, April 11th, 9am to 12pm.
Where: Lower Macleay Park. Parking is limited. Carpooling is encouraged!
What: Tool cleaning and repair. This will require standing, bending, and lifting of tools.
Long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for your safety. Long-sleeved shirts and weather appropriate layers are also recommended. Make sure to bring a water bottle. If you have any allergies, please bring medications in case of emergency! Training, tools, snacks, coffee, and work gloves will be provided.
