Description

This is a sign-up for a brushing overview virtual training geared towards IVs and VCLs.

It’s that time of year when your stewardship team begins the preparation work for our next trail maintenance activity - Brushing Season - managing the plant growth to preserve our park trails. Volunteers from Marquam Nature Park (MHP) and Forest Park (FP), staff from Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R) and FPC, have mapped out this season’s trail work courses, targeted dates for work party events and projected volunteer turnout requirements. With the addition of MNP this year, we’ll be addressing 50-plus miles of trails over the weeks from mid-May through mid-August. For a successful season, we’ll need the support of our experienced Volunteer Crew Leaders and Independent Volunteers!
