This is a sign-up for a restoration work party hosted by Portland Parks & Recreation.
When: Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 from 9am-12pm.
Where: Marquam Nature Park: Marquam Shelter (Parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged!)
Work: Planting native plants!
What: Please join Portland Parks & Recreation to plant native species in Marquam Nature Park near the Marquam Shelter. No previous experience is necessary. All tools, training, and guidance provided.
Preparation: Please wear closed-toe shoes, and long pants, and dress appropriately for the weather. Please also bring a water bottle (we will have a jug for refills). If you usually pack emergency medications such as Epi-Pens to outdoor activities, bring those along just as you normally would.
We provide: Light snacks, coffee/tea, water, gloves, tools, training, and fun! If you have any food allergies, please let us know.
Activity info: This activity takes place outdoors, it will require bending over, and walking off-trail on uneven surfaces. A portable restroom will be available at this site (not ADA compliant).
