This is a sign-up for a meditation course in Forest Park.
When: Sunday August 27th, 2023 from 9am to 10am
Where: Lower Maclealy Park Meet under the bridge at Lower Macleay Park Trailhead. We will be taking a short walk into the forest, so please be on time. (Parking is limited, carpooling is encourage!)
What: Join us to reset your stress levels, recharge your energies and renew your spirits in nature this Summer at Forest Park. Learn simple, practical mindfulness meditation practices with Tay and Val from MODERN MIND LABS to nourish the heart, body and the mind.
ALL LEVELS WELCOMED // NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Whether you’re a first-timer curious about meditation, or a seasoned meditator wanting to meet like-minded community—no matter your previous experience with meditation—you’re welcomed to join us and soak in the summer nature vibes together!
Preparation: Please bring your yoga mat/towel and dress in non-restrictive clothing and wear close-toed shoes. Simply wear what you usually wear, so long as you can sit comfortably on your mat in your attire. You may wish to bring a little water and sunscreen, too. To get the most out of the event, we also encourage you to come with a curious mind, a friendly heart, and an attitude of gratitude!
We provide: Experienced instructors and plenty of fun and adventure!
Activity info: All participants must register for the event, which will be capped at 10 students to ensure plenty of attention to each.
