Come join us on this online information session for our Green Jobs Workforce Development Program.
The Green Jobs Workforce Program works in partnership with local community organizations and programs (Blueprint Foundation, Ecotrust, and Wisdom of the Elders through their Green Workforce Academy; and Love is King) and environmental conservation organizations (West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District; and Columbia Land Trust) to provide support for a 12-month full-time paid position.
FPC and its partners are committed to supporting the individuals during the program and after its completion, including flexibility in work schedule, transportation assistance, and connection to destination employers.
We are currently enrolling for five positions, emphasizing Development and Communications; Stewardship and Volunteer Coordination; Conservation Technicians; and Trail Technicians.
During this information session, interested participants will learn about the objectives and structure of the program and the benefits for participants; and about the Forest Park Conservancy and its partners at WMSWCD and Columbia Land Trust.
