Description

Join co-leaders Robin and Anya, former long-time techs with Backyard Habitat Certification Program, who will explore and identify emerging spring native flowers -especially along the impressive Trillium Trail -and observe spring birds too. We will travel the loop on Wildwood Trail and back up Firelane 7 in under 3 miles. As with many loop hikes in the park, it is somewhat steep in sections. Bring snacks and water as needed and dress for any weather and muddy trails. Meet at the Springville Road trailhead, off Skyline Blvd. Parking is limited, so please carpool where possible.

Activity info: All participants must register for the event, which will be capped at 20 guests. Please leave their dogs at home as the trail is narrow, and there’s a lot of fragile plant growth and nesting birds right now.
