Come Explore Marquam Nature Park with Us!
Join us for a relaxed early evening hike through the beautiful Marquam Nature Park, guided by Master Naturalist and Forest Park Conservancy board member (and former Friends of Marquam Nature Park board member) Robin Jensen, along with Ashley Horacek.
As we wander along the Flicker, Marquam, and Towhee Trails, we’ll take time to learn about the park’s fascinating plant and animal life, as well as its rich natural and cultural history. This 3.5-mile loop includes a 400-foot elevation gain and is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the forest at a slower, thoughtful pace.
We'll meet at the Terwilliger Trailhead of the Marquam Trail, where the hike will begin and end. Parking is available in roadside pullouts along Terwilliger, though space is limited—carpooling is encouraged!
Whether you're new to the park or know it well, this is a great chance to connect with the land, the community, and each other. We hope to see you there!
