Volunteer: Trails Training (Drainage) - Saturday, March 7th, 2026 (Springville)This is an in-person, field training event, where FPC and PP&R will be will be teaching some basic trail maintenance skills such as how to properly clear out drains, ditches, culverts, and other drainage features on the trails. This training will be particularly useful for current FPC Independent Volunteers, Rapid Responders, and Volunteer Crew Leaders, but it's open to anyone looking to learn these skills. Brushing is the cutting back of the excess spring growth from the sides of trails, which is needed to keep the trails safe and navigable and help manage the natural health of the forest.
